May 2016 - March 2018 SWYA professional Diploma course in Bristol See www.southwestyogaacademy.co.uk This 500-hour course, leading to the BWY Diploma in Teaching Yoga began on 14th May 2016. It is an in-depth course consisting of study weekends, tutorials, home study, home practice and a residential weekend at the Mandala Yoga Ashram in Wales. The monthly course weekends will take place at the Wildgoose Space, Mina Road, St Werburghs, Bristol. You can begin to teach yoga classes while on the course, as soon as you are ready, the course itself providing you with invaluable support and guidance as you take your first steps into teaching. Students from all traditions and yoga backgrounds are welcome to the training. The course focuses on developing knowledge and skills to be able to share your own style of yoga, authentically, effectively and safely, with mixed ability groups. Andrea Newman is the main tutor on this course, assisted by Eve Douglas, with other expert tutors joining us as guest tutors from the SWYA faculty.
